Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to meet one of the following two qualification paths:
- Option 1: A 2nd Division Master’s Degree, subject related to the position applied for this Position.
- Option 2: The above requirement is made up of a Bachelor’s Degree (4 years with at least 2 CGPA out of four), and a M.Ed., B.Ed., B.Ed. (Hons.), MA Education or an Associate Diploma in Education, plus 2-5 years of relevant teaching experience.
Additional requirements:
- Only educational degrees from HEC recognized university.
- This recruitment is being conducted for the local inhabitants of Chitral only so the applicants have to be citizens of Pakistan and must have domicile of Chitral District.
- Age limit is 35 years, age relaxation is already applied in this age. There is no further relaxation applicable to this except an additional relaxation of 3 years for the candidates of SC and the Buddhist Community.
- A Police Clearance Certificate from the Police Station of the State Police is required and should be attached to the Application Form.
Important Instructions Before Applying
WAPDA has issued an advertisement with some conditions, which should be read carefully:
- Selection is based on merit and localisation is observed in these posts.
- Candidates will not be called for test or interview unless shortlisted, no TA/DA (travel/ daily allowance) will be provided to candidates for this.
- Serving government employees must apply through proper channel, submitting an advance copy of their application. Without No Objection Certificate (NOC), no application will be forwarded and those who do not produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) will not be allowed to appear for an interview.
- Documents should be provided at the time of interview.
- Any information found to be false or bogus, if discovered during the application process, induction, or later during service, will result in termination.
- WAPDA reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage and it is not mandatory to have the same number of posts that are advertised; it may be increased or decreased at the competent authority discretion.
