Code List Cleaner
Remove duplicate codes, choose a separator and preserve the original case.
Tidy a code list without changing its spelling
Repeated entries and extra spacing make a code list harder to use. Paste the list, choose how the codes are separated and let the cleaner remove exact duplicates. The output keeps the original capitalization so it does not silently rewrite a code.
Two spellings stay separate
CODE_A listed twice becomes one CODE_A. A separate code_a stays in the list because its case is different. This is deliberate: cleanup should not assume that two differently written codes are interchangeable.
Choose only the cleanup you need
Use the comma or whitespace separator only when that is how your source list is arranged. The whitespace option splits at every space, so it is unsuitable for a code that contains spaces. One code per line is the safer default for preserving whole entries.
Sorting changes the order but not the spelling. Invisible character removal is optional and removes a limited set of hidden formatting characters. Review the cleaned output before copying or downloading it.
Questions about Code List Cleaner
Does cleaning tell me whether a code works?
No. It removes formatting problems and exact duplicates, not expired or invalid codes.
Are rewards kept with the codes?
This input is for code strings. Put only the codes in the list rather than an entire article or reward table.
Why are Test and test both present?
Case is preserved and duplicates are matched exactly. Those two strings are treated as different entries.
