Net Sale Calculator
Work out what remains from a sale after your entered fees.
Separate the sale amount from what you keep
A percentage fee and a fixed charge reduce a sale in different ways. Enter the gross sale, the percentage and the fixed amount to see their combined cost and the net amount. The effective fee rate puts both charges on one percentage basis.
Two charges on one sale
For an entered sale of 1,000, a 30% fee takes 300. A fixed charge of twenty brings total fees to 320 and leaves 680. The effective rate is therefore 32%, even though the percentage field was 30%.
Supply the actual fee rules
The example rate is only an arithmetic example. This calculator does not assume a Roblox fee, confirm eligibility for a payout or fetch a platform fee schedule. Enter the rules that apply to the transaction you are examining.
A fixed charge can take the net amount below zero on a small sale. That result is a signal to recheck the entered charges, not a promise that a platform would allow the transaction.
Questions about Net Sale Calculator
Why is the effective fee higher than the entered percentage?
A positive fixed charge adds to the percentage fee, increasing the combined share taken from the sale.
What happens when the sale is zero?
The fixed charge can still be subtracted. There is no effective percentage rate to calculate from a zero sale.
Can this handle multiple percentage fees?
It applies one entered percentage to the gross sale. If fees are charged in a different order, calculate those stages separately.
