Overseas Pakistani passport is also homework, but the number of routes has changed again this month and it is important to know where they are.
The latest Passport has found that Pakistani citizens can travel to 29 countries without requiring a traditional visa of their travels. Comprises visas free entry, visa on arrival (VOA) and visa via electronic travel authorisation (ETA).
Where Pakistan Stands in the Global Rankings
According to the Henley Passport Index, Pakistan ranks 101st place in the world.

If you are looking for some perspective, the 20th anniversary edition of the index saw the average passport now passports to 108 destinations, up from 58 destinations at launch in 2006.
Visa-Free Destinations (11)
These destinations don’t require any visa arranged before departure, though travellers must still meet each country’s entry conditions:

Difference Between VOA, ETA and E-Visa
It is easy to mix these categories up, so here is the distinction in plain terms:
- E-visa: A digital visa requiring online application and approval before you depart.
- Visa-free: No visa required before travel, but entry conditions still apply.
- Visa on arrival (VOA): The visa is issued once you land at your destination.
- ETA: An online travel authorisation, not a full traditional visa.
E-Visa Destinations Worth Knowing About
In addition to the 29 countries included in Henley’s main categories, there are a large number of other countries that provide e-visa for Pakistani citizens. These are approved and require an application before travelling and will give much greater access to the world.

The United Kingdom is also part of the list of current e-visa options for Pakistani citizens, along with a longer list of countries like Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bhutan, Libya, Namibia, Nicaragua, Syria and Zambia.
What to Do Before Your Book
It is an automatic right to enter if you are issued visa free or visa on arrival. Immigration officials, require documentation at the time of the application, and requirements are subject to change without notice.
The first step to any trip is to confirm:
- Passport validity requirements
- The maximum time is indicated.The maximum stay time is given.

- Accommodation proof
- Sufficient funds documentation
- Travel insurance requirements
- Health and/or vaccination may be required.
