Using this tool

Check what is left after crafting and selling

The sale price alone can make a craft look more attractive than it is. Add materials, other costs and the selling fee before comparing the result. This calculator keeps the cost per item separate from the total for the batch.

A five item batch

Materials of 120 and other costs of thirty make one item cost 150. Selling it for 220 with a 10% fee leaves 198 from the sale. Profit is forty eight per item, or 240 for five items.

Use one consistent unit

Enter material and other costs for one item. Quantity scales those costs and the profit across the batch. If you put the whole batch cost into a per item field, the result will count it again for every item.

The break even sale price covers entered costs after the percentage fee. At a 100% fee no positive net sale remains, so that break even price cannot be reached under this model.

Questions about Crafting Profit Calculator

Does other cost include my time?

Only if you choose to give it a currency value and enter that value. The tool does not price your time automatically.

Can profit be negative?

Yes. A negative result means the entered net sale is below the entered crafting cost.

Are these current market prices?

No. All prices and fees are entered by you. The calculator does not fetch a market listing.
