Skill Enhancement through Home Reach (SEHR) Program is a flagship initiative of the Women Development Department (WDD) by the Government of Punjab, aimed at empowering women through providing them free professional and digital skills. The program is designed to empower women to enhance their employment skills, launch an online business from home.
One of the most popular parts of the program is the Digital Skills Training course where qualified participants receive a laptop, internet device, internet package and PKR 5000 per month for a duration of six months.
Important: Some social media posts and websites claim that the SEHR Program provides Rs. 7,500 per month. However, according to the official Women Development Department information, the Digital Skills Training component offers a PKR 5,000 monthly stipend. The Rs. 7,500 amount is associated with a separate travel support initiative for eligible working women and students, not the SEHR Digital Skills stipend.

Eligibility Criteria for Digital Skills Training
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Female applicant
- Punjab domicile or valid CNIC
- Minimum 16 years of education (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
- Majority of seats are reserved for women up to 30 years of age, with a smaller quota for women above 30
- Selection is based on eligibility, test, and/or interview where applicable.
