Split a whole pool without losing the remainder

Equal shares are not always whole numbers. Enter the reward pool and the number of members to find the whole units each can receive, the units left over and how many members could take one extra unit if you decide to distribute the remainder.

One hundred units for six members

Every member can receive sixteen, leaving four units. If four members receive one extra, the final shares are seventeen, seventeen, seventeen, seventeen, sixteen and sixteen. The total remains one hundred.

Decide how to handle the extra units

The calculator counts the remainder but does not choose who receives it. You could keep it for a later pool, rotate the extra shares or agree on another method before the split.

This is a mathematical division of your entered numbers. It does not send a group payout, check permissions, include transfer fees or confirm that a particular reward can be divided in a game.

Questions about Group Reward Splitter

Why are whole shares rounded down?

Rounding everyone up could distribute more units than the pool contains.

What if the pool is smaller than the member count?

The equal whole share is zero. Some members could receive one unit if you distribute the remainder.

Does this transfer rewards automatically?

No. It calculates the amounts only.
