Pakistan Railways has announced a large scale Contract recruitment for its Directorate of Land Management, Headquarters Lahore. The advertisement has been issued in the wake of a letter dated the 14th day of April, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Railways and it offers 20 different job positions with 75 vacancies which include Management, Legal, GIS, revenue and administrative roles.

Qualification and Experience by Position
- Manager Property and Land: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with PEC registration and 5 years of relevant experience in property and land management or equivalent.
- Manager (Legal): LLB or MBA or any other relevant qualification with a 5 years experience.
- Manager GIS: Master’s degree from HEC recognized university or other qualification (a minimum of 16 years of education) with 5-8 years of experience.
- Manager Land Revenue (BA/BSc) and had to be retired Deputy Director/Assistant Director/Tehsildar Revenue of Provincial/Land Revenue Department for a minimum period of 15 years.
- Manager (City & Regional Planning/ Urban Planning): Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, City & Regional Planning, MBA (Marketing/ Finance), or relevant area and 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Manager Licensing: As for Manager Land Commercial.
- Assistant Manager Prevention: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and PEC registered.
- Judicial Magistrate requires a degree in law from a recognized university with at least 2 years of active practice as an advocate and a valid High Court license.
- Assistant Manager Commercial: Business Administration (Marketing) Degree or equivalent qualification, and 3 years of post-qualification experience in marketing, preferably in the real estate/land management field.
- Assistant Manager Contract: BBA (Marketing/Finance) or LLB or equivalent and 3 years of post qualification experience.
- Land Inspector: 3-Year Diploma of Associate Engineering (Civil) by the Board of Technical Institutions, in addition to 8 years of related experience.
- GIS Supervisor / Assistant Developer GIS: A bachelor’s/Master’s degree in geographical information system from a university recognized by the HEC (Master’s is preferred) with 3 to 5 years of experience in mapping, cartography, geo-referencing, spatial analysis and geo database maintenance.
- Inspector Land Revenue: BA/BSc, and retired Tehsildar/Naib Tehsildar/ Qanoongo Revenue officer of at least 10 years service in Provincial Revenue Department.
- Qualification for Inspector Anti Encroachment, a retired Ex-Army Officer of Subedar Major rank or a retired Assistant Director/Anti-Encroachment Cell Officer of District Government.
- Post Qualification experience in Marketing, preferably real estate and land management, plus Inspector Licensing BBA (Marketing) or other relevant qualification is required.
- The Contract Assistant: BBA (Marketing/Finance) position requires 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- As a Legal Assistant, a candidate is required to have an LLM degree, plus 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Revenue Assistant: Matric (2nd Division) + 3 years Patwar Course.
