The Pakistan Railways have announced that Bulleh Shah Passenger Train service will resume from 17th July. The daily passenger train will again operate between Lahore and Pakpattan via Kasur and will offer better facilities to the travellers of all the route.

The move comes as part of the efforts of Pakistan Railways towards strengthening the rail connectivity of the region and providing ease to the public transport users to travel between different major cities and towns of Punjab. The revitalized service is hoped to improve the lives of commuters, students, workers and families who rely on the service every day.

The railway administration has announced that the 257-Up Pakpattan Lahore Express Train will leave Pakpattan at 5:00 am and reach Lahore at 10:50 am. The 258-Down service will depart Lahore at 4:00 pm and will arrive in Pakpattan at 9:30 pm on daily basis and will be able to travel in both directions.

The train will traverse different stations along its path, such as Kot Lakhpat, Raiwind, and Kasur, enhancing connectivity for people residing in the area. The reintroduction of the service is anticipated to provide an affordable option to road transport for travellers whilst minimising travelling challenges faced by the regular travellers.
